Hi everyone,
My apologies for mis-numbering my last message. It should have been number 67, not 66. I knew it would happen eventually!
A point has been made to me that the media are already asking the question, "Were the elections free and fair?" as if they are already over. Lest I trample on the toes of the all-knowing media, may I remind them that the election is not over yet, and will not be until the votes are counted and the results announced. Prime time for stuffing the ballot boxes and engaging in other skullduggery will be while the ballot boxes are in transit to counting centres, while the ballots are being counted and at night when no (official) activity is taking place. This is why ZANU-PF has done their best to make sure that poll monitors were not allowed in polling stations or to move and sleep with the ballot boxes.
